Job Summary:
The Intermediate Analyst applies established analytic methodologies and principles to support client needs, evaluate project objectives, and contribute to strategic initiatives. This role performs a range of analyst functions including data collection, interviewing, research, data modeling, and survey support. The analyst conducts analyses using tools for reporting, budgeting, cost control, risk modeling, and statistical process control, while collaborating closely with senior program staff and project team members. The position requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, along with proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools, advanced Microsoft Excel capabilities, and experience developing dashboards and reports in Power BI using DAX, as well as integrating SharePoint and Excel for real-time data analysis.

Responsibilities/Duties:
- Possesses demonstrated knowledge and experience in the application of analytic methodologies and principles to address client needs, evaluate project objectives and contribute to the implementation of strategic direction.
- Performs analyst functions including data collection, interviewing, data modeling, research and other analyst duties as assigned including support for surveying efforts.
- Additional duties may include use of tools, analysis, budgeting, cost control, statistical process control, risk modeling and analysis.
- Conducts activities in support of project team’s objectives and demonstrates strong interpersonal and communications skills.
- Works closely with senior program and other project team members.
- Experience using Microsoft 365 including Word and PowerPoint.
- Experience creating dashboards and reports in Power BI, including Data Analysis Expressions (DAX) formulas.
- Experience integrating SharePoint and Excel for real-time data analysis with advanced experience with Microsoft Excel, including Pivot tables.
- Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain and maintain a DHS suitability determination and HSPD-12 PIV card.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional analytical experience supporting program management, operations, or business analysis efforts.
- Demonstrated experience with data analysis, reporting, and dashboard development.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables).
- Experience developing reports and dashboards using Power BI, including DAX formulas.
- Ability to communicate analytical findings effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Management, Finance, Data Analytics, Economics, or a related field required.
- Equivalent experience (an additional 2 years of relevant analytical experience) may be substituted in lieu of a degree, if permitted by company policy.
